NSW Nominees for AIP Bragg Medal (Best Ph.D. Thesis)

The AIP Bragg gold medal for the best Ph.D. thesis by a student from an Australian University was established in 1992 as an initiative of the SA Branch of the AIP to commemorate Sir Laurence Bragg and his father Sir William Bragg and is awareded annually. The prize involves a three stage selection process where each university nominates one candidate to its state branch, each state branch then selects two of these candidates as nominees for its state and the winner is finally chosen from these nominees by a national judging panel. Nominations from NSW universities should reach the secretary of the NSW branch by 28th July, 2006.

For further information contact: Graeme Melville (NSW-AIP Secretary).
