• MARCH: Tuesday March 15 2005, 5pm, Slade Lecture Theartre, University of Sydney, SAFA/AIP talk. Speaker: Prof Tor Hagfors "From Earth´s Aeronomy to Solar System Physics From Ground-Based Observations to Space-Based Experiments - An Institute in transition"

• MAY: The May Meeting will be held at 6:00 pm, Tuesday May 31 2005 in the Slade Lecture Theartre, University of Sydney. Speakers, Prof. Ross McPhedran, Dr Manjula Sharma & Dr Chris Stewart will talk on "Why Physics? What Physics?"

• JUNE: Tuesday June 14 2005, 5pm, Australian Institute of Nuclear Science and Engineering Lecture Theatre, Lucas Heights, Sydney. Speaker, Dr Kenneth Doolan will talk on the "Physical Properties of Plastics"

• SEPTEMBER: Thursday September 1 2005, 4.30pm, Wollongong Science Centre. At 6.30 pm speaker Prof. David Jamieson will talk on Einstein's Theory of Special Relativity.

• OCTOBER: Tuesday October 11 2005, Sydney University.

• NOVEMBER: Tuesday November 15 2005, 6pm, AIP NSW AGM, University of Sydney: Speaker: TBA
