NSW AIP Youth Lectures

The NSW-AIP Youth Lectures were established in 1987 to promote topics of current intense interest in physics to a non-specialist audience of high school students and the general public, with the view of encouraging students to undertake a career in physics and related sciences and increasing awareness among students and their families of the possibilities offered by continuing to study physics. Each year (at least) one lecture is presented by the chosen youth lecturer at public venues or NSW high schools. Admission to the lectures is free and teachers, parents and other interested members of the public will be welcome. The lectures are directed at students from year 9 and up and a knowledge of Physics is not required.
